Rose Garden FAQs
How many people will it hold?
You can arrange approx. 40 chairs on the bricks. All other chairs can be arranged on the grass around it.  We have had up to 250 people for a wedding there.
 
Do you provide the chairs?
No, we do not provide the chairs. There are several different rental businesses in the area that you can rent them from.
 
Do you provide tables (ex:  for unity candle)?
No, but you can bring those things in and remove them after your ceremony.
 
Is there electricity?
Yes, there is electricity located behind the center column.
 
How long are the roses in bloom?
The roses generally bloom from mid May to the first frost. Of course, there is no guarantee due to varying weather conditions.
 
When does the train come through?
We have no way of knowing the train schedule. Due to security after 9/11, the Railroad will not issue a schedule. However, the trains that come through are generally very short.
 
Is there handicapped accessibility?
If you have someone that cannot walk the path to the Rose Garden, we can make arrangements for you to get them there.
 
Do you provide a golf cart?
No, but you can bring one to help shuttle people if you would like. 
 
Can we decorate and when?
You can decorate. You have it from sun up to sun down so you can decorate it any time you like that day. If you are using flower petals along the path, they must be real petals. 
 
Do I get a refund if it rains?
We do not issue refunds on our rentals.  If it rains and you have Beeson Hall or the Theater rented for your reception, we can open that facility up earlier so that you can hold your ceremony inside.
 
Do you require a deposit?
We do not require a deposit but you must pay the full amount of the rental at the time you make your reservation.
 
 
Do you provide the preacher for the ceremony?
No.
