How many people can each shelter hold?
Youngs Creek #1: 10

How many tables are at each picnic site?
There are 2 picnic tables on each picnic site.

Is it near a playground?
Most of the shelter and picnic sites are near a playground, if not right next to one.

Is there a grill at each park shetler?
Yes, there are charcoal grills available however you must bring your own grilling supplies.

How will people know the picnic site is rented?
There will be a rental card with your name on it in a box visible at the picnic site.

What if someone is there when I arrive?
If there is someone there, please just let them know you have the space reserved. If you want, take your receipt and permit with you that day as proof. Any issues, call 317-736-3689.

Can I have a open fire (bonfire/camp fire)?
No, open flames are not allowed in the park. Use of grills is ok.

Do I get a refund if it rains?
No. We do not provide refunds for park rentals in case of inclement weather.

What if the park is flooded?
If the park floods, we will work with you to reschedule for another date in the current season or in this case, we would provide you a refund due to flooding.

Can I have alcohol in the park?
No.

How far in advance can I rent a picnic site?
One year ahead.

Are restrooms available in the park?
Yes, there are restrooms located at Youngs Creek Park.

Are bounce houses allowed in the park?
No.

Do you do more than one park shelter rental per day?
No when you rent a park shelter it is only you for the day.
