Can I rent this facility her hour?
No.  This facility is rented per day, 10am-10pm

How do I get in the building?
After you book your reservation, you will need to stop in at the Franklin Cultural Arts & Recreation Center a day or two prior to your rental to pick up a rental key to the facility.

Is alcohol allowed at this facility?
No.  Alcohol is NOT allowed at the Booker T. Washington Community Center.

How many people will the facility hold?
Approximately 70 people.  There are tables and chairs for 70 in the building.

Do I clean up after my event?
We ask that you clean up any mess you made while using the facility.  Please take the trash out (large trash receptacles are located just outside the back door).  There are brooms and a sweeper available if needed.

Can I bring in food / drinks?
Yes. You may bring in food and drink for your event (only non-alcoholic beverages).

Is there a kitchen at Booker T. Washington Community Center?
Yes. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, sink and serving counter.

Do you rent the facility more than once per day?
No.

How far in advance can I reserve the Booker T. Washington Community Center?
We do all reservations up to one year in advance.

Where do we park?
Booker T. Washington Community Center does not have a parking lot.  You can park on the street across from the facility.

Do you require a deposit to reserve the facility?
We do not require a deposit but you must pay the full amount of the rental at the time you make your reservation.
