9:00 AM - 8:00 PM    Lifeguarding Certification Class - Lifeguarding - April 26th - 27th
Want to earn your lifeguarding certification? Lifeguards are in high demand, and earning your certification will help you find employment in more than just seasonal pools. Gyms, schools, and other aquatic facilities are in constant demand of lifeguards. The class consists of a 4-6-hour online portion to be completed before the in-person class. The in-person class consists of 22 hours of in-pool training and CPR/AED/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer. Must be able to complete the following on the first day of class : • Jump in, swim 150 yards using front crawl and/or breaststroke, tread for 2 minutes without using hands, then swim another 50 yards  • Swim 20 yards, dive down to retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom, return by swimming on your back while holding the brick at the surface with both hands, then exit the water without using the ladder within 1 minute and 40 seconds**The person taking the class must be the one to register, and we need their email and phone number.  If registering a minor, parents please have a household account including the minor with the required information for them.
